...Candle Factory

On our way to the mountains, there is a candle factory (which is our own little landmark because it’s about half way down our trip!!) and I’ve never posted pictures of it so here are some:

The candle factory at Byrkedal was originally a cheese dairy. In the late 80’s, they started to make candles. The shop sells candles in every shape, size and color and you can even try to create your own multi colored candles by dipping them into tubs of different dyes.


Close to Byrkedal is Gloppedalsura where you can see an amazing boulder field with rocks the size of houses but we never stopped. Well I guess it called for another trip.
